Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 May 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using StompLab, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. What StompLab is
StompLab is a web application for browsing guitar pedal build projects, managing a personal component stash, and tracking builds. Project layouts and diagrams displayed on StompLab are sourced from third-party creators and are credited accordingly. StompLab is provided as a community tool and is not affiliated with any pedal manufacturer or layout author.
3. Your account

- You must be at least 13 years old to use StompLab.
- You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use StompLab to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service without prior written permission.

5. Third-party content and intellectual property
Project layouts, schematics, and diagrams displayed on StompLab are the intellectual property of their respective authors. StompLab credits each layout to its original creator and links to the original source where available. If you are a layout author and believe your work has been attributed incorrectly or you would like it removed, please contact us at hello@stomplab.app.
The StompLab name, logo, and original interface design are owned by StompLab. You may not reproduce or use them without permission.
6. Your content
Data you add to StompLab — such as your component stash and build notes — remains yours. By storing it on StompLab you grant us a limited licence to process and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
StompLab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that project layouts are accurate or suitable for your specific build. You use the service and any information on it at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StompLab and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damaged components, failed builds, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, given the service is free, is likely nil).
9. Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these terms or are misusing the service. Suspension means your account remains intact but you are unable to log in; your data is retained during this period. Termination means your account and associated data are permanently deleted.
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of StompLab after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
